This Privacy Policy explains what information PuzzleForge ("we", "us") collects when you purchase or use the PuzzleForge service (the "Service"), how it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

Purchase information. When you buy PuzzleForge, the transaction is processed by WarriorPlus, our payment and affiliate platform. WarriorPlus passes us the information needed to provision your account — typically your name, email address, and order/product details — via an Instant Payment Notification (IPN). We do not receive or store your full payment card details; those are handled entirely by WarriorPlus and its payment processors.

Account and usage data. To operate the Service, we track account-level usage data such as your render quota consumption, which product tiers/entitlements are active on your account, and basic technical logs (timestamps, error events) needed to keep the Service reliable and to enforce quota limits server-side.

Content you provide. Word lists, puzzle titles, and other inputs you type into the Service to generate puzzles/videos are processed to produce your output. Where an optional AI-assisted feature is used (e.g. niche word-list suggestions), the text you submit for that feature is sent to a third-party AI provider for processing; we do not use your content to train models.

2. Local Storage / Cookies

PuzzleForge uses your browser's localStorage (not third-party tracking cookies) to cache your license/entitlement status locally so the app can start quickly without hitting the server on every action. This local cache is periodically re-validated against your account on our servers and is cleared when you clear your browser's site data. We do not use localStorage for cross-site tracking or advertising purposes.

3. How We Use Information

• To provision and maintain your account and enforce your purchased entitlements/render quotas.
• To provide customer support, process refund requests, and respond to inquiries.
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of the Terms of Service.
• To send transactional communications related to your purchase or account (not marketing spam).

4. No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your information with third parties except: (a) service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g. hosting, payment processing via WarriorPlus, the AI provider used for optional AI features — sent request text only, not account identifiers); (b) when required by law; or (c) with your consent.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. You may request deletion of your account data as described below, subject to records we are legally required to retain.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you by contacting us (see below). Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law (e.g. GDPR, CCPA); we will respond to verified requests in accordance with those laws.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business and creative use by adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page.
